Last night Taylor played in his very first band concert. There he is, way in the back.

This is his first year playing the drums. 5th grade is the first chance they have to play in the band and Taylor was quick to sign up for drums. When the signup sheet was sent home, drums weren't listed & Daddy called the music director. They got it all sorted out and now Daddy helps Taylor stay on count during practicing. Taylor comes home from school on band days and reports (in a humble way) that he is the best drummer in the band and he doesn't think anyone else is really practicing. I'm pretty sure Todd is counting on Taylor being a chip off the old block. He wouldn't let one song go unrecorded.

The concert went as well as any 5th grade band concert could.

I do believe that the drum section sounded perfect.
