It's baseball season again! Taylor is playing for the Cubs major team this year (he was Cubs last year also). He's had 5 games so far and they have a 4-1 record. He's a great player and we love to go out and see him play (at least once I'm actually there I do).
Taylor started out playing on a team when he was 5 years old, and it's been fun watching him progress from t-ball, to coach pitch, to kid pitch and so on. Even as a 2 or 3 year old, it used to amaze people that he could hit a ball. We had a foam ball and bat and we would play in the house all the time. These days, Taylor really enjoys the game and he's memorized all the players on the D-Backs team along with their stats and if they've been traded. He loves to go to D-Backs games with his Daddy and just last week they went to the home opener. Playing catch in the backyard with Daddy is another highlight. I don't have brothers, so it's fun to watch him be such a boy.a little FYI: I have decided that this week my posts will have a baseball theme. I started doing a super duper long post about all three kids and baseball, but had to rethink it so that caffeine would not be required to finish reading. Besides, now everyone will have something to look forward to :)... I know, it's quite a cliff-hanger.
