self-employed

The kids, motivated by their desire to play at Makutu's Island, manned an incredibly awesome lemonade stand on Saturday.

They sold:

ice-cold lemonade (goes without saying, but I said it anyway)

delicious snickerdoodle and chocolate chip cookies (donated by their loving mother)

otter pops (including green)

-There was some waiting

-There were traffic jams and high demand (once)

-There was monitoring by mommy (Paige says I was distracting)

-Friends and cousins visited as paying customers (thanks for the contribution)

-There was cooperation, sharing and getting along-edness!!

The best part?

Eating the profits and being proud of your efforts...

..... Oh, and the $30 they banked!! Nice job, kids!

that's a prime corner spot they've got there to set up shop. that must be part of the reason they're doing so well. can i get in on a franchise?
