So, I'm a whole week into the blogging thing, and I've decided to change the name. I really never did want our name in the title, but lacking any clever ideas and wanting to get started I just threw it on there.
When my children are babies, I sing "You are my Sunshine" to them - and I still do. Partly because I remember this song from my childhood and partly because I don't know many other songs (outside of primary songs anyway).
You are my sunshine
My only sunshine
You make me happy
When skies are gray
You'll never know, dear
How much I love you
Please don't take my sunshine away
I had no idea before we started our family how much I would LOVE these little people. I was even a little bit nervous that maybe I might not be cut out for the whole mothering bit. Even with all the challenges that come with being a mother, though, I wouldn't change a thing.
So, since I'm blogging about our family, and they ARE my sunshine, I'll stick with that - for at least a week. And we live in the hot Arizona sun, which gives it a secondary meaning!

isn't it amazing... i was just thinking the other day that i had no idea how much God loved me until the mook came into my life. and what i feel -- though it overwhelms me -- isn't even close to the perfect love He has for us.
