no girlz allowed

Lest anyone should think that we don't give Taylor enough blog love, I'm going back a bit to share the boys' trip. Since Todd's love for picture taking is lacking, I was able to mooch a few pictures from the Hoopes (thanks guys!).

Just after the New Year's festivities, the boys packed up their fishing gear and headed to Roosevelt Lake to meet up with our friends the Hebb's and the Hoopes'. It was an all boys affair that included roughing it in the loaded RV (satellite tv, shower, warm beds) and lots of waiting around for the fish to bite.

A little example of 'like father, like son'....:

"No girlz allowed" doesn't fly at our house, daddy would be pitifully alone...

Looked fun though!

girlz :) you're so ghetto-fabulous.

julia - my dad was outnumbered as well - with 4 daughters. eventually, even the dog was a girl. (i'm sure you are all anxiously awaiting the teenage years - yikes!)

faith - girlz wasn't supposed to be ghetto as much as it was supposed to be 'clubhouse' - even if i am fabulous!

WARNING: Novel material present.

Okay call me a complete STALKER... so I saw you mention you were a blogger on your 25 thingy list. Hmmm I was a peek, I should Google - Rachel, you are amazing. I will not lie by telling you that I look at many bogs and I have NEVER gone through and read all the posts. Confession : I did with yours. Thankfully I couldn’t sleep so I had un interrupted time. #1 - you ARE a very talented writer so don’t say you are not. I was jealous the whole way through because of your knack of expression. You made me laugh, you made me cry, and you taught me many things. You do have an amazing talent in writing and photography. SO many posts when talking to Paige in parenting I just had to laugh because I can hear myself saying the same thing! But the ALL TIME topper was your comment as to Home Ec. and the miss shapened Letter Pillow! SIsta - I hear ya. I still can not believe I am admitting you I have read the whole thing but I promise, I wouldn’t have if it wasn’t worth it. It was fun to get a glimpse into your life - now we don’t have to meet for lunch....KIDDING. Oh and by the way, don’t bother looking at mine -
it is L-A-M-E~!!!!!! I give it 1/2 a start.

lol. those pictures are great! *you are a good wife to allow such frivolities on a "campout". I would probably force them to suffer!

oh tanya, you are assuming that anyone asks me for input when it comes to camping. they plan it, shop for, and load up on their own. i just get to do the laundry once they're home. lucky for them, our friend mark had all the ammenities their hearts desired - they just showed up with fishing poles. :)
