Tonight as Taylor was drying his hair, I mentioned that it was getting a bit unruly and he needed to get it trimmed up. He surprised me by saying he wanted it cut short. So I obliged. This happens every year or so, and then he wants to grow it out again. It needs a little cleaning up, but it will do until one of his cosmotologist aunts come to the rescue. We had a fun time anyway. Every step of the way he was giving me advice on how it should be done and where it needed a little extra snip. His favorite part of the haircut was the mullet phase. He wouldn't allow me to take a picture of that, but it was white trash country all the way. When I couldn't get him to stop advising me on the process before I was even done, I threatened to leave it in the mullet.
I know some of you -namely Todd and Amber - will be THRILLED that he's no longer shaggy. Todd always tells him he looks like a girl and Amber always threatens to put his hair in ponytails. Personally, I'm a bit partial to the shaggy hair. Either way, he's a cutie - even if he IS too cool to actually smile for a picture.

WHAT! he WANTED it chopped? it was finally getting to the good shag! but yes of course taylor dude your handsome either way! seriously not too bad on the hair cut rach!
