final stretch

Maybe you all are just as sick of reading about our trip as I am. Between writing about it, editing pictures, and blogger just not wanting to cooperate with me when it comes to downloading pictures, I've had enough. This is the final installment of our vacation. Phew-wee.

Our last day I was sick. I think everyone may have gone to the beach again. I stayed in bed until 1 o'clock. Since I am the lone photographer, that means it went undocumented - for shame! I did pull myself together enough to accompany them to the Aquarium. It was small, but entertaining enough for the kids.

That evening we roasted marshmallows around the fire and made s'mores. We sang campfire songs, held hands and told ghost stories. Just kidding. We did eat s'mores, though. The kids warmed up in the hot tub, which is where they spent a lot of their time when we were at the house. It was a life saver, really.

We pulled them from the warmth of the hot tub and let off the remaining fireworks in the front yard. Nothing at all spectacular, but we promised the kids and we didn't want to be called liars.

Thus ends our Oregon tale. Perhaps someday in the future we may return to the land of green trees and cool air. Until then...collage4

Love, love, love your pictures! They are so good and your kids are so cute! Of course Taylor probably wouldn't want to be called cute (except by a girl his age), so I'll say he looks so cool. :)
