Paige was awarded Star Student of the Quarter at school. Gabriel and I packed up to see her receive her award at their assembly. (Remember as a kid how gigantic the multi-purpose room seemed? Not so big anymore with the whole student body and their parents smooshed in there.) Paige felt like a super 'star' and waved to all her fans while she was in front of them. {Good job, sweetie!}

Paige wasn't the only one with fans. Taylor's class was on the back row, right in front of where we were standing. As we were leaving, Gabriel gave Taylor a high five. Then, before we could take another step, Gabriel was giving the entire row of sixth grade boys a high five - not wanting to leave anyone out. I so wish I'd had a video recorder.
